Many organizations have important questions that fall outside the scope of their day-to-day work. Answering those questions well tends to require effort that internal teams cannot easily set aside.

We are a practice made up of researchers with experience working in academic, scientific, and technical settings, often on questions that sit between disciplines.
We take on a limited number of engagements at a time and prefer relationships that last longer than a single project.
